If you use most of your day drafting or number crunching you may want to invest in a simple drafting desk with a big drafting surface and a pencil drawer. A few more ideas are shelving below the desk or a credenza that sits on the top of the desk that would provide you with the added area necessary for storing papers, books, etc. An L-shaped desk could be a wonderful selection, giving priceless work area for viewing documents or other working papers, such a ledgers. Or, if you are extremely out of work area you might want to get a corner desk.
